Success – Trust Issues

We called Grace because she came highly recommended. We have a dog who has severe trust issues and it makes things almost impossible to do, she wouldn’t walk, always paces, can’t give meds, groom, or even run kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher. We called Grace and she came out and did our assessment and felt she could make significant improvements so we rolled the dice and said let’s try!

Grace came in calm and quiet and just sat low on the floor and patiently waited for our girl to be interested in her and it took less then 5 min, that alone I was amazed as our girl barely trust us. Once Grace earned her trust she looked to Grace for guidance and before we knew it she was following Grace everywhere! She even sat in the kitchen while the dishwasher ran and ate snacks from Grace, usually she would have run out of the kitchen and go hide.

On our second visit Grace was able to cut her nails and detangle a knot out of her fur, I was so impressed and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. We know our girl will never be so called normal but Grace is showing us how to be patient and help her overcome her fears and to look for us for comfort.

Grace is a miracle worker as far as I’m concerned and as she was highly recommended to me, I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone who needs help with their dogs! She is honest and never says she can do something if she feels like she can’t!
