This is my best buddy in the world, Justice. He is our Rottweiler and we have had him since he was a five-week old pup. This boy has never given me a moments grief and for the most part is the perfect dog, I could never have asked for a better dog nor did I ever think we would get a dog as well as this guy. We are taking him to the vets tomorrow to find out if he is as sick as we think he is. In the past three weeks he has lost so much weight that we can see his ribs and spine and he is unable to keep any food down. I am very afraid they are going to tell me he has a cancer of sort as this breed is prone to it. With that said it doesn’t make this day any better for me and my family, I am spending the day making my Justice as comfortable as possible and giving him the best day possible in case they tell me these will be his final days. As prepared as you think you are for this day, and you know when you get a puppy that this is ultimately the end result it doesn’t make it any easier. Justice is my best friend, great companion, and all round awesome boy. I will cherish these last few days with him.
Hi there. I’m Grace. I am a very hard working, compassionate and strong willed woman who loves a challenge and never backs down from a hard days work, which is a good mix for working with dogs that are having trouble getting along in the world with us humans! The greatest reward I get in life is when someone tells me I saved the life of their dog so they didn’t have to give it up! I love nothing more then showing people how to be a leader in their own world and all aspects of life! I am a leader, and walk my own path in life and I’ll go where ever it takes me!

He is going to the vets tomorrow at 4pm so I will keep you posted when I get back.
I am so sorry that you may be faced with this. Not long ago, my cat of 10 years old stopped eating. He would get excited over a treat then get to it and not be able to eat it. He got so skinny and I know in my heart that this may be it for him. I had actually helped his mommy give birth to him all those years ago. I took him to the vet and at first, the vet said it could be impacted bowels. He preceded to give Lazar enemas over and over. IT didn’t help so he had to x-ray. My worst fear came true. He had intestinal cancer. It was too far advanced to be operable. So, we had to put him to sleep. I still feel the lose. Even though I still have my other kitty, my dog of course and still have one of my turtles, no animal can take his place. With having an animal for a long period of time, that animal is a part of the whole history of the owners life.
I will say a prayer for Justice that whatever it is can be cured. But whatever happens, I can tell you that the spirit of a family pet never leaves. xx Good luck with the vet sweetie! (((hugs)))
