When I picked Dudley up from the Humane Society in September I was very excited to have him join my family. Within the first few days I realized I had my hands full. He came to me at the age of 1 with no training history. He did not listen, jumped on everyone and everything, was biting his leash and anything else he could get including me, had an attitude, and just wanted everything HIS way. I brought him to a trainer who originally said she could not help him and that either I keep him and try but probably not succeed, or put him down. In time, she said I could bring him to her obedience course. So I did but that did not help as it wasn’t one on one which I knew he needed. I than was told about Grace, so I contacted her and we made a date to meet. She came over and met Dudley. I believe she thought she had her hands full! Dudley went to doggy Boot camp the beginning of December. When Grace brought him back I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. He was a completely different Dudley. I was amazed. Dudley listened and responded to everything he was told to do. Grace stayed for hours to show me and make sure I understood everything that was now taking place. She also told me that she is only a phone call away which I really appreciated knowing I could call her if needed. She did a great job and I feel he could have been put down if I never found Grace! I still bring Dudley to daycare and follow the ten house rules. He is still a little stubborn but I know now that with the help Grace gave and my ten rules he will be a great dog. Dudley loves going back to see all his friends and have Grace remind him how he should be. I have told many people about Grace and all she has done for us. Including my Vet and other animal lovers. I want people to understand and know where they need to go for help for their animals! Thanks again Grace!
